Van Patten, the author of the Official Price Guide to Dolls, is a long-time
collector of dolls and a dealer of modern, vintage and antique dolls through her
doll shop Katherine's Cottage in northern California. She has been the
Guide to Doll Collecting at About.com --the world’s largest information web site
for doll collectors-- for over five years. She was the editor of the Doll Reader
magazine web site from 2001-2002. Her articles on dolls have been featured
in many magazines. You will find Denise's schedule of appearances and
